2020 has not been our usual busy dancing schedule. After a great dancing weekend at Torquay in early March,then we were closed due to Covid19. Although we know online Zoom classes were not the same and not for everyone, we are grateful that many joined in week after week and we were able to keep united and have fun. Whilst we were so excited to resume in person during September and October, November and December 2020 has seen us close again. We have also suffered losses in the family and it has truly been a tough year.
We can confirm however that the IDTA and Local Authorities have told us in Tier 2 we can recommence with all the Covid secure measurements we have already put into place. We will restart from Wednesday 6th January 2021.
With a vaccination now hopefully being available, we are planning many social dances and events for 2021 to make up for those we missed as soon as we are allowed to do so. We hope to increase our class numbers and see the resume of some who have not yet been able to come back.
